摘要：
Processes associated with sound generation in superheated liquids by charged particles are analyzed on the assumption that the bubble mechanism prevails. Two processes of very different durations can be discerned in the course of sound generation. The feasibility of recording an acoustic pulse generated by a single particle is demonstrated experimentally. Pulses from alpha particles in isobutane are detected.
