摘要
In connection with mesomorphic lubrication layer formed in the gap between two side surfaces of sliding disks, the mathematical description, which allows to define the thickness of boundary phase and flow parameters, was elaborated. The two cases were considered: the model of rigid sheared layer with extremely high viscosity of boundary zone and model of epitropic liquid crystal layer of constant viscosity. It is defined, that affectivity of lubrication compositions is influenced not only by the thickness of boundary layer, but also by this layers stability during changing of friction conditions.
