摘要
Three new species of fossil biting midges from Upper Cretaceous (Cenomian - 95 Ma) amber of NW France are described and illustrated. They are: Atriculicoides cenomanensis, A. incompletus and Austroconops borkenti. A fourth species discovered in this fossiliferous resin is tentatively assigned to Leptoconops. The extinct genus Atriculicoides, originally described from Upper Cretaceous Siberian amber, is reported for the first time from Europe. A fossil species is recorded for the first time in the extant genus Austroconops and the subfamily Austroconopinae.
