摘要
The study on thermodynamics of ion exchange equilibrium for uni-bivalent Cl-/SO42- and Cl-/C2O42- reaction systems was carried out using ion exchange resin Indion-102. The equilibrium constant K was calculated by taking into account the activity coefficient of ions both in solution as well as in the resin phase. The K values calculated for Cl-/SO42- and Cl-/C2O42- reaction systems were observed to decrease with rise in temperature having enthalpy values of 16.28 and 16.14 kJ/mol respectively, indicating endothermic ion exchange reactions.
