摘要
Four minor polyoxygenated lanostanoid triterpenes, named applanoxidic acids E-H, have been isolated from an Indonesian tropical fungus, Ganoderma applanatum. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods and by comparison with previously reported applanoxidic acids A-D. Biological activity as inhibitors against tumour promoters was observed by determining the inhibitory effect on Epstein-Barr virus-associated early antigen activation.
