摘要：
The paper describes the problem issues of identification of small innovative entrepreneurship (SIE) entities. It is concluded that there are no legislatively fixed definite criteria for economic entities relation to SIE category. In addition, it was attempted to formulate the criteria of business relation to SIE most appropriate for Kazakhstan practice. The essence and role of SIE at the current stage of economy development is revealed. The advantages of small enterprises for innovative activity are systematized.
