The development of a bifunctional branched hose for the Porsche 911 Turbo engine represents a new way in the field of automotive hose technology. The aim of the development was a hose able to combine two very different technical functions in only one unit. With a new special technology for making branched hoses - successfully used to date for radiator and heater hoses - the problem could be solved. So for the first time the manifold abilities of this technology were adopted for the sector of oil and hot air hoses. This hose is designed for operating at 150-degrees-C under the defined conditions. Due to its particular conception and function it represents an extraordinary novelty in terms of material and processing.
