INDOOR AND OUTDOOR RADON PROGENY IN RIYADH CITY DWELLINGS

摘要
Indoor and outdoor radon progeny working levels were measured in Riyadh city dwellings. The measurements were performed using active dosemeters. The average indoor and outdoor working levels were found to be 1.25 +/- 0.20 mWL and 1.10 +/- 0.12 mWL, respectively. The corresponding annual effective dose equivalent received by the city population is estimated to be 0.41 +/- 0.04 mSv.
