ACUTE INTERSTITIAL NEPHRITIS AND UVEITIS SYNDROME (TINU SYNDROME) - A NEW PEDIATRIC CASE-REPORT

Clinical features and natural course of acute interstitial nephritis and uveitis (TINU Syndrome) in a 9 years old boy are reported. TINU Syndrome is uncommon but the real incidence is under estimated because of non specific clinical picture. An immunological disorder causing the syndrome is most likely, as some laboratory data demonstrate. No sistemic or inftectious diseases were found in our case but medication exposure was considered likely.
