FELINE UROLOGIC SYNDROME (FUS) DUE TO STRUVITUROLITHIASIS - DIETETIC MANAGEMENT

摘要：
The struviturolithiasis represents a frequent problem in connection to the feline urologic syndrome. Beside different high-risk factors as for example sex, age and breed it is reported on the role of the pH value of urine and the feeding in rise of disease. Subsequently a survey on the most important dietetic measures for prophylaxis of this disease is given (lowering of the pH value of urine, change of feeding ingredients) and it is pointed to the risks and contra-indications in this treatment.
