摘要
A new kind of modified electrode, based on Nafion gels made hydrophobic by using a hydrophobic solvent like tributylphosphate (TBP), has been prepared and studied in aqueous electrolytes. Such modifications can incorporate a wide range of electroactive compounds and the features of the compounds included are retained. The behaviour of such electrodes modified with gels loaded with a series of ferrocenes has been investigated by cyclic voltammetry chronoamperometry and spectroelectrochemistry. The coatings were found to exhibit very high diffusion coefficients of the ferrocenes included when compared to classical ionomer modified electrodes.
