摘要
Innovation in health care concerns surgical procedures and devices as well as the field of organization. The aim of interprofessional collaborative practice in surgery is to upgrade efficiency during surgery and for peri-operatice care. The shortening of hospital stay needs to anticipate what has to be done, before and after the procedure, in a pluri-professional practice. Many examples of surgery (laser, robot, neurostimulator, botulininum toxin) lead to complementary care. Clinical decision making, organizational algorithms, procedures, may be shared by the surgeon and the advanced practice nurses. It affords quality and safety for the patient, it allows the surgeon to get better involved in the core of his expertise. New HPST French law offers a great opportunity for interprofessional collaborative practice. The main input for nurses is today only qualitative. The demography for nurses, more favorable than for surgeon, is a feasibility argument. The inter-professional collaborative practice influences positively the quality of care in perioperative setting.
