A recent article by Porsani and Ulrych presented a method for calculating discrete convolution by means of a tap-delay line structure in conjunction with the Levinson-Durbin recursions as a new alternative to the conventional discrete convolution method. In this correspondence paper, we show that care must be taken in implementing this algorithm.
