摘要
The effects of quantum modes on the free energy relationship for electron-transfer reactions formulated by the ''spin-boson'' model are examined. The modified energy gap law for exothermic electron transfer reactions with quantum modes is derived in a simple analytical form, using the method of steepest descent to avoid the usual multiple convolution integrals.
