摘要
This article summarizes the work carried out regarding road planning and the organization of the technical services in Cape Verde, from 1956 until the 70s of last century. The article begins with the interpretation of the Ministerial Order that starts the proceedings of drawing up a road plan in 1956, and examines the plan published in 1962, together with the other changes that were introduced in the organization of the provincial services, giving a perspective of the improvements achieved, based on the published legislation. In the end one concludes by the recognition of the importance of the development policy and the work carried out, which enabled the introduction of improvements in the road infrastructure and also the rise of the resources available over the studied period, which were reflected in higher levels of knowledge, experience and means that the provincial offices were made keepers.
