MAPPING OF CHARGE POLYDISPERSITY ONTO SIZE POLYDISPERSITY IN COLLOIDAL SUSPENSIONS

摘要：
The variational principle based on the Gibbs-Bogoliubov inequality is used to map the thermodynamic and structural properties of a charge-polydisperse colloidal suspension onto those of a polydisperse reference hard-sphere fluid. The predictions of this mapping are tested by molecular dynamics simulations.
