摘要
Nowadays children and adolescents spend up to nine hours per day with sedentary behaviours. With the objective of indentifying risk groups with prolonged times of sedentary behaviours and preventing negative health outcomes at an early stage, researchers at sports institute of University Heidelberg developed a questionnaire to measure sedentary behaviours of children and adolescents aged 5-20. In scientific investigations the reliability and validity of this questionnaire was tested and confirmed. This confirmation serves as a fundamental requirement to develop effective programs to reduce sedentary behaviours and subsequently, to prevent chronic diseases in childhood and adolescence.
