摘要：
The hypothesis of n-alkanes as mixtures of CH3 and CH2 elements is used in the law for the freezing point depression of ideal solutions. The actual data for the freezing points of n-alkanes fit such a relation with a good accuracy. The treatment has been extended to n-alcohols.
