摘要
Human society can not survive without conflicts. Throughout centuries, national legal proceedings system has remained one of the most effective conflict-solving institutions. Furthermore, judicial litigations require serious time and money expenses, the pressure on the courts is significant - this is why nowadays the interest in the alternative conflict resolution methods is rapidly increasing. In the article different alternative methods of conflict resolution are described, such as: arbitration, mediation, negotiation and ombudsman. For more detailed and qualitative question research all these methods are considered in various national legal system frames. Analyzing all data mentioned in the article, one can figure out similarities and differences in usage of alternative conflict resolution methods in various countries, make conclusions about which methods have the most popularity in the countries, which are in one or the other legal system.
