摘要
The process of phenol decomposition in an aqueous solution under the action of a DC discharge of atmospheric pressure in air was studied. The decomposition efficiency was found to be 0.017 molecules per 100 eV. The oxyphenols, carboxylic acids, aldehydes and nitro phenols were the main decomposition products. The treatment process accompanies by the hydrogen peroxide formation, pH decrease and the nitric acid formation. Some other parameters of discharge were determined as well.
