摘要：
An investigation was carried out to determine the effect of sea water on crack propagation characteristics of Q1(N) and HY100 steel weldments. Crack propagation rates in parent metals and MMA weldments were greater by a factor of approximately 4. 5, than those measured in similar materials in air. Submerged arc weldments exhibited the smallest crack propagation rates in the DELTA K region.
