摘要
The systematic development of new business models is an essential and challenging task in the context of corporate management. Digitalization is making this even more difficult in view of the large number of complex technological developments and far-reaching changes in established value-added structures. The VDI/VDEGMA Committee 7.23 "Business Models for Industry 4.0" has set itself the task of creating a comprehensive guideline that effectively supports companies in the development of new business models for digitization and Industry 4.0. Some 40 experts from science and industry are working in an interdisciplinary committee which will provide a comprehensive overview of key design elements, challenges, approaches to solutions, further sources of information, and concrete processes and methods. The main goal is to support small, medium and large enterprises in developing better business models for digitalization and Industry 4.0.
