摘要
A novel hydrodynamically controlled "Hull cell" (HCHC) apparatus has been developed. This instrument is a modified rotating cylinder which emulates the performance of a conventional Hull cell. Unlike a Hull cell, however, the rotation speed of the HCHC, and hence the solution agitation, can be varied and accurately controlled over a wide range. This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of a conventional Hull cell and rotating cylinder versus the newly developed apparatus and its performance.
