摘要
A time variable tidal flow model was developed to be used interactively with a two-dimensional, finite segment, water quality model. The continuity equation and the equation of motion were used as coupled model equations and formulated in a finite segment format. Numerical solutions were obtained using a two - step explicit method where velocities, tidal heights, and segment volume were adjusted at half-time intervals. The model calibration/verification were based on recorded tidal elevation data. The model predictions are in close agreement with the measured data.
