摘要
Despite all improvements in recent years, tuberculosis continues to be a public health problem in Turkey and all over the world. It is crucial to control risk groups in tuberculosis control. Data about tuberculosis among soldiers in military, which highly represent young male population in Turkey, give information about not only military people but also overall course of the disease in general population. A significant decrease in total number of soldiers with TB and resistant cases as well, and the increases in bacteriological diagnosis and cure have been made us hopeful about future of tuberculosis.
