摘要：
This study presents wage equation estimates based on individual level data for six local labour markets in Great Britain. The estimated effects of labour force experience, education and union membership are compared across the six local labour markets. The index number approach is exploited to decompose the observed differences in wages between labour markets into their explained and unexplained components.
