摘要
We intend to consider a few poems from vida: variacoes II (2001), by the Portuguese-Belgian poet Benedicte Houart (1968-), in order to discuss some contemporary forms of experience driven by consumption. To do so, we base the analysis on the concept distribution of the sensible [partage du sensible], by the philosopher French-Argelin Jacques Ranciere (1940-), which allows us to perceive, as a sensitive evidence system, the existence of a common and the distribution of spaces, temporalities and forms of activity that determine a priori the ways we are able to participate in the community. This way, we hope to develop meaning mechanisms that, by and with the poems, contrast ways of being and doing related to consumption as a structuring practice of capitalist societies.
