Rubbing pairs of mechanisms operating under complex conditions (at high loads and velocities, in the zone of contact with abrasive particles, etc.) must possess high wear resistance. One of the methods of increasing the wear resistance of materials is diffusion chromizing. The composition, structure, and features of formation of the composite coating obtained in diffusion chromizing of a Ni - Co - P coating previously applied to a specimen by chemical deposition are investigated.
