摘要
The domain structure and processes of magnetization of uniaxial ellipsoidal ferromagnets are investigated by computing in the scope of the model of a finite number N of plane domain walls. A comparison with the analogous investigation made earlier for rectangular specimens permits to separate the effects which are general for this model independing of the shape of a specimen and the effects which are conditioned by the shape. For the case of ellipsoidal specimens the last ones are: the limiting set of the possible metastable states with different number of N; the possibility of magnetization of a specimen opposite to the direction of magnetic field H, which is being due to the instability of the domain walls position at some values of H; the existence of metastable states of domain structure at H not-equal 0 in the specimens, for which only the one-domain state is possible at H = 0.
