摘要
Concentrates of a semi-synthetic watermiscible coolant and a water soluble metalworking fluid with five different defoamers were investigated. Concentrates with water, recommended by manufacturers, minimum and maximum concentrations of defoamers were used. Concentrates of 5% (m/m) emulsions in water of hardness: 0, 15 and 30 degrees n. In comparative studies, the author's INiG - PiB procedure was used to determine the foaming tendency of the watermiscible metalworking fluids. Additionally, the surface tension and pH were also investigated.
