BLUE-TONGUE IN LA-REUNION ISLAND - RESULTS OF A SEROLOGIC SURVEY

摘要：
A serologic survey on Blue Tongue incidence has been carried out, in 1985, in La Reunion island. 705 cattle sera, 112 goat sera and 145 sheep sera were tested by agar immunodiffusion technique. Almost 30 p. 100 of cattle, 9 p. 100 of goats and 1.4 p. 100 of sheep were found positive. This confirms the presence of the virus in the island in spite of lack of clinical cases.
