Mass-transfer coefficients have been obtained for a flow-through carbon felt electrode using the limiting-current technique and assuming plug-flow conditions for the range: 25 < Pe < 1700. For low Peclet numbers (Pe < 100), it has been seen that slight errors in measuring the limiting-currents lead to larger ones in the calculation of the mass-transfer coefficients.
