摘要：

The Supreme Court's use of resulting trusts in Prest v Petrodel Resources Limited is not without its difficulties. Whilst the outcome on the facts of that case was probably just, the decision left important questions of principle unanswered and may have expanded the role of resulting trusts in matrimonial disputes.
