摘要
The mechanism of tetrahydrobisfuran formation in aflatoxin B1 biosynthesis is defined in experiments that monitor the incorporation of molecular oxygen into an anthraquinone intermediate of the pathway in conjunction with cell-free reactions that complete the synthesis of the tetrahydrobisfuran present in versicolorin B wherein the second ring bears the labeled oxygen.
