摘要
The dynamic response of a heat pump influences the system's overall seasonal coefficient of performance (COP), because of its effect on the on/off cycling losses. This paper investigates the dynamic response of a variable-peed system over a range of capacities and condenser water-return temperatures. The results reveal that neither the compressor speed nor the condenser water-return temperature has a significant effect on the dynamic response of the system. The expansion valve requires careful selection, especially in the case of variable-capacity heat pumps: it is a factor that can influence the response of the system.
