摘要
Simultaneous administration of vitamin B1 with its derivative hydroxythiamine results in cessation of antivitamin action on the protein and RNA biosynthesis in rat liver. Because of this and also of the absence of any changes in the plasma corticosterone level and concurrent hydroxythiamine-induced inhibition of RNA synthesis in the rats, it is possible to consider the antivitamin effect, realized via vitamin-dependent reactions, to be the key factor in the influence of hydroxythiamine on the protein and RNA biosynthesis.
