摘要
The pulse generator is designed for pumping of metal-vapor lasers. The thyristor part employs two TCh-100 thyristors and the magnetic part has four compression sections. The cores of the compression-section chokes are made of 50NP and 79NM Permalloys. The generator produces pulses of alternating polarity with an amplitude of 8.2 kV and a rise time of 35 nsec. For an efficiency of 50% and a pulse frequency of 20 kHz, the output power of the magneto-thyristor generator is 1 kW.
