摘要
The article contains an analysis of the structure of the formation and of the utilization of the production of the Slovak economy in the 80'tieth in the context of the development of the Czecho-Slovak economy. The analysis was processed on the basis of the data of the input-output tables of the economy of the Slovak Republic and of the Czecho-Slovak Republic for the years 1977, 1982 and 1987. For the analysis in the period of the years 1987-1990 some main indicators from the Balance of the National Economy were used. The analysed indicators were classified in 5 branch-complexes: 1. agriculture and forestry, 2. industry, 3. construction, 4. transport and communication, 5. trade. From the aspect of the formation of the production the development of intermediate consumption, value added and its components were analysed. From the aspect of the utilization of the production the tendencies in the distribution relations between intermediate consumption and final use and its components were analysed. A part of the analysis was devoted to the foreign trade. The development of the Slovak economy and the Czecho-Slovak economy was influenced and distorted by the political and economic conditions of the last 40 years. The starting conditions of the Slovak economy were worse than of the whole Czecho-Slovak economy. The development of the Slovak economy till the year 1987 was characterized by many indicators with higher rate of growth than in CSFR because of the worse structure of economy and higher rate of material and import consumption. The economic development after 1989 in CSFR and Slovak Republic was influenced by many factors: political changes in CSFR and in countries-former members of the CMEA, war in the Persian gulf, transmission of CSFR and other former CMEA - countries on the positions and conditions of market economies. These changes caused the slow down or decrease of the rate of growth of many analysed indicators. The results for the Slovak Republic were worse than for the whole CSFR. Introduction of the new economic conditions and of the economic reform is accompanied with the decrease of the economic level of the Slovak economy and of the Czecho-Slovak economy; such development was expected and estimated.
