Description of the small-section mill installed in 197 . New construction and revamping measures at this mill. Description of the new process sequence. The improvement of the surface quality, microstructure and dimensional accuracy of the rolled product as well as the reduction of decarburization were the main aims of this investment. Description of the new and revamped equipment. Computer configuration. Material tracking and process computer system. Operating results: reduced decarburization, positive microstructure, higher capacity, wider dimensional range.
