THE LOWEST FUNDAMENTAL-BAND NU(3) OF (CH3I)-C-13 - SIMULTANEOUS ANALYSIS OF THE LEVELS V(3)=1, V(6)=1, AND V(3)=2

摘要
The infrared spectrum of the lowest fundamental band nu(3) of (CH3I)-C-13 has been studied in the region 470-550 cm(-1) at a resolution of 0.0027 cm(-1). In this parallel band more than 1500 transitions have been assigned for subbands K = 0-12, including J values up to 79. The band has been analyzed using the upper state energies as observations. In addition to the vibrational level upsilon(3) = 1 the model included the level upsilon(6) = 1 in order to study the influence of the Coriolis interaction nu(3)/nu(6) On the band parameters. There is also a Coriolis resonance in effect between the upper states of the bands nu(6) and 2 nu(3) and accordingly the level upsilon(3) = 2 has been added to the model.
