摘要
The study, presents the results obtained in the development of the project "Inventory of Emissions of Air Pollutants of primary fixed point sources in the Commune 4 of the city of Cali"for the year 2006. The study was conducted on the basis of primary and secondary information. Primary information was directly provided by the companies. Secondary information was obtained from the Chamber of Commerce and environmental statements provided by the companies to Environmental Authorities. This information allowed performing the process of censed, validation of the information and characterization of the area of study. Once evaluated the obtained information, it was necessary to review and adjust the questionnaire of Environmental Declaration according to the requirements of the standards related to the air pollution. Finally, it was applied to the selected companies. After validation of the information, 260 companies were classified according to their economic activities, production processes, class of pollution fixed sources and class of employed fuel. Further, the primary pollutant emissions (PST, SO X, NO X, CO y COVs) were calculated by means of emission factors, which eventually allow the estimation of the fixed sources contribution to the pollution in the Commune 4. Could establish that the sector of fibres and textiles was the main generator of emissions of material particulate (PST) with 50% of the whole of the 182 ton /year issued by the fixed sources inventoried. This due to the fact that five (5) of such industries operate its boilers with coal without any type of control and 165 ton/year of COVs by the sector metalmecanico and graphic arts. These pollutants affect the respiratory system of the persons.
