FIGHTING THE VIRUSES - PRACTICAL ANTI-VIRUS TRAINING

In order to fight computer viruses successfully it is of crucial importance to have trained staff. Effective, practical training sessions in anti-virus procedures are possible to set up. This paper describes a controlled environment and how to design it. Training methods and exercises are discussed and also a procedures manual. Illustrations of wiring schemes for hardware are included. The environment described can be set up by an academic institution, a company for internal training or by companies offering training to other organisations.
