摘要
We introduce a model of nonlinear diatomic of atoms with masses M1 and M2 which are connected with linear springs moving on a substrate of the form V(Y) = 1/8 zeta-2 cosh 4Y - zeta-cos 2Y - 1/8 zeta-2. In the continuum approximation, the system is described by two partial differential equations whose solutions PHI(x, t) and PSI(x, t) are related to the average value of the displacements of two neighboring atoms and their relative displacement respectively.
