摘要
Bidiagonal realization was first introduced by Policastro (1980) for SISO linear systems. A more general approach is presented here that allows definitions and computational procedures in its determination to apply also to the case of MIMO systems. Acyclic systems are also considered, i.e. systems requiring a block bidiagonal (derogatory) matrix to be used for the realization.
