This contribution focuses on organisations that are not in the cinema industry, studied in their role as external investors. The importance of the collective value of sustaining cine audio visual productions is at the basis of this work. Nonetheless, our attention is oriented, on one hand, to study the investment advantages for the external organization, on the other, to analyse the risks of this investment in the perspective of an increasingly clear choice. From the analysis of tools, dynamics and data, relevant opportunities for the organisation emerge, together with important conditions for their successful implementation. It is essential that the organization proceed without improvising, following, on one side, an approach to planning and a detailed evaluation of the project, on the other, flexibility and openness in interactions with other interlocutors that must be oriented toward reaching the best balance at collective and individual level. Most of all, it is necessary that the organisation proceed in the context of a solid and coherent strategic path, because a film project can give value to the organization's identity but can not solve doubts on this.
