摘要
The spectroscopic and lasing properties of a CNGG : Tm : Cr crystal were investigated. The kinetics of luminescence decay of the Cr3+ ions was studied. An efficient nonradiative transfer of energy from the Cr3+ to the Tm3+ ions was observed at room temperature. Free-running lasing of CNGG : Tm : Cr crystals (due to the F-3(4) --> H-3(6) transition) was observed at the 2,02-mu-m wavelength at room temperature.
