History, memories and directions to live: the stratagies of being who one is the daily life of a cultural plurality

The presence and the performance of black men and women in the cities of the Triangulo Mineiro, parts of Alto Paranaba and southeastern of Goias mark this initiated reflection. The construction of possibilities, the maintenance of social values, the permanence and update of historical values are elements present in the narratives of life of the interviewed ones. The analysis about the understandings of life of this group of people, together with the social insertions, the defenses of the significations and the ways of being allow to investigate the intentions contained in the overmuch spread out versions of the past in these localities.
