摘要
Three sets of experiments widely differing from each other in methods used and objects chosen were carried out, unambigously proving that the surface sensitivity centres of AgX microcrystals are silver salts epitaxies, either already being in a superionic state before exposure or changing into such a state under the action of exposing radiation. It is shown, that the existence of sensitivity centre superionic properties leads to formation of photolytic silver particles inevitably carrying a positive charge at the external end, this one being due to a contact potential difference; this suffices for the particle functioning as an electrode at the development stage.
