摘要
We have already proposed a new concept of "universal multimedia access" intended to narrow the digital divide by providing appropriate multimedia expressions according to users' (mental and physical) abilities, computer facilities, and network environments. In this article, we redefine the switching functions for our new concept of universal design-based multimedia access, and discuss its user interface for supporting users in accordance with their abilities, computer facilities, and network environments.
