摘要
A study has been made of the influence of water concentration on the rate of oxidation of Ti(III) hydroxide in an alkaline water-methanol medium at 333 K. It is concluded that H-2 is evolved through a reaction of H2O with the Ti(II) that is formed as a result of disproportionation of Ti(III) in the polymeric hydroxide.
